Namco × Capcom is a tactical RPG crossover developed by Monolith Soft — the Xenosaga studio — that blends strategy-RPG maps with timing-based action battle sequences. Released only in Japan for the PlayStation 2 in 2005, it unites a sprawling cast of Namco and Capcom characters, including Xenosaga's KOS-MOS, Shion and M.O.M.O., and it laid the groundwork for the later Project X Zone series.
